Dejvino

Hi! I'm the author of this website. Call me Dejvino.

I have a master's degree in Theoretical Informatics with specialization in Parallel & Distributed Systems. I've been writing computer software since the 90's.

My professional experience with software development focused mostly around web-based applications, both the front and the back-end. I've built enterprise databases, data-processing servers, graphical interfaces, mobile phone clients, plugin APIs, etc. Mostly using Java, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and Oracle SQL.

As a hobby I've created several PC games (both 2D and 3D) since building virtual worlds is so much fun. I even wrote a server emulator for a certain MMORPG.

Out of necessity I've been a server admin and a webmaster running many services used by me and my family. You simply can't trust anyone else with your personal data. I use GNU/Linux not only on the servers but also on my personal machines.

All in all, I'd say I'm quite qualified on the topic of computer technologies.
